Coca Cola Cake

½ cup cola ½ cup oil
4 tbsp. cocoa ¼ cup butter
1 cup water 2 cup sugar
2 eggs 2 cups flour
½ tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. vanilla
Icing for Coca Cola Cake (recipe follws)
In a medium saucepan, bring cola, oil, cocoa,, butter and water to a boil.
Let cool til lukewarm.
Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda and vanilla by hand into lukewarm mixture.
Pour into ungreased sheet cake pan.
Bake at 375° about 15 minutes.

Icing for Cocoa Cola Cake

¼ cup butter ½ cup cola
4 tbsp. cocoa 1 lb. powdered sugar
½ tsp. vanilla 1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
In small saucepan, bring to boil, butter, cola, and cocoa.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Stir. Add pecans.
Pour over warm cake.
