Hershey Bar Cake

7 (1½ oz) Hershey's Candy Bars 1 cup butter
2 cups sugar 4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla 2 ½ cups flour
¼ tsp. soda 1 cup buttermilk
1 cup pecans confectioners sugar

Melt the candy in top of a double boiler with 2 TBSP. water.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Add chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix flour and soda.
Add alternately with buttermilk; mix well.
Add chopped pecans.
Pour into large tube pan that has been greased & floured.
Bake at 300º for 2 hours.
Dust with confectioners sugar.
This is a very moist cake and will keep for several days.
